FAQ

Common questions

Should our doors be insulated?

If the space is heated or cooled, or people work near the doors, insulated sections cut drafts and energy costs. For unheated storage, a non-insulated door is often enough.

What does a maintenance visit include?

We lubricate and adjust the doors, inspect springs, cables, rollers, hinges and operators, test the safety devices, and give you a written list of anything that needs attention.

Can you add openers to our manual doors?

In most cases, yes, as long as the door is balanced and in good shape. We check that first so the opener isn’t fighting the door.
